The game of Poker is played with cards and blinds. The ante, which is the initial amount that a player must pay, goes into the pot. The players reveal their cards one by one. Some poker games require blind bets. Blind bets are made before each player is dealt cards. They can replace or add to the ante. Blind bets are rotated around the table every round. Usually, players take turns making blind bets. Usually, a player must call a blind bet before he or she can check. This requires the player to have a higher hand than the other players.
